In planta comparative assessment of IDR and ODRs mutational robustness within TEV VPg.

A collection of variants will be artificially constructed by introducing nonsynonymous mutations, either in the ODRs or IDRs of VPg of TEV. The viability (V), success at infection (I) and fitness (F) of these variants will be compared on Nicotiana tabacum (a TEV susceptible host) to assess the mutational robustness of ODRs and IDRs.
